EMPLOYEE SAFETY & HEALTH AWARENESS APPLICATION (ESHAA) (hereinafter referred to as “App”) is an application solely owned by SAPURA SECURED TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD (hereinafter referred to as“SST”). When you register and use the App, some personal data is collected from and about you. We are committed to protecting the security of the said information and safeguarding your privacy. 

This Privacy Policy sets out the details of the personal data collected, the manner in which it is collected, by whom as well as the purposes for which it is used. By registering, you are deemed to have accepted the terms of this Privacy Policy and your use of the App signifies your continued acceptance thereof. This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time and all changes will be incorporated here. If we believe the changes are material, we may notify you of the changes by posting a notice on the App. Your continued use of our App constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy as revised from time to time.

1. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND MANNER OF COLLECTION

• When you register on the App, the personal data collected from you includes the following:
• Full Name as per NRIC / Passport;
• NRIC/Passport Number;
• Office Email Address;
• Emergency Contact Details;
• Residing Address;
• Company Address; and
• Mobile Phone Number.
• The App will continuously collect your location data and maintain a record of the places you have been during your official working hours, through your device IP address, WiFi, Bluetooth and/or GPS coordinates, once the permission to access your device location services is granted and allowed.
• When you provide personal data to us, you are responsible for providing accurate, not misleading, complete and up-to-date information, and to update this information as and when it becomes inaccurate, misleading, incomplete or out-of-date.

2. USE OF INFORMATION

• The personal data collected from or about you will be used for the following purposes:
• to verify your identity, update our records and generally maintain your account on the App;
• to generate reports and other aggregated and statistical visualisations to help support and to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Malaysia;
• to track your health status based on ‘Self Health Declaration’ features in the App, and notify you that you are required to undergo home isolation/quarantine or seek immediate medical attention; and/or
• to be aware of your location and movements if you are under the Working From Home (WFH) rotation scheme, in order to ensure your safety and health condition.  
• The personal data collected will not be used for any purpose other than those mentioned above save as required in order to comply with any legal obligation.

3. SHARING OF INFORMATION

• We may share information about you with any of the following parties:
• professional advisors as we deems necessary and appropriate;
• our affiliates and/or third party service providers assisting in performing certain aspects of the App (if any); and
• Governmental and other regulatory authorities or in the courts in any jurisdiction if we believe that such action is necessary.
• Please be assured that no personal data collected by the App will be disclosed to any third party or transferred to a place outside of Malaysia for commercial purposes.

4. RETENTION

• We will only retain your information for as long as your account is active, as we are required to by law or as is relevant for the purposes for which it was collected.

5. RIGHTS

• As a registered user of the App, you shall have the right to access your profile at any time to ensure that the personal data is accurate, complete, and not misleading.

6. DATA SECURITY

• The App is equipped with generally accepted industry standard security features to protect the confidentiality and security of your information.
• Personal information provided is uploaded to a secured server that belongs to SST where it is stored.
